- This sources sought is for information gathering and planning purposes only, and should not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or solicitation of an offer. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought or otherwise pay for the information solicited. Requesting Sources Sought: The 47th Contracting Flight, Laughlin AFB, TX is seeking information on available vendors that can provide the following brand name or equal requirement. Borescope (GE part number XLGOT5AK1T3930), the unit shall be light weight and battery operated. It shall have picture and measurement capabilities, a minimum of 3.5 inch VGA color LCD display, 640X480 resolution, sunlight readable, Polycarbonate waterproof housing, and one-handed joy stick menu and articulation control. The probe shall be 3.9 MM x 3M with a 360 degree articulating tip with tip deflection of 160 degree minimum all ways. The camera requirements shall be the following: housing must be made of Titanium, a double threaded tip, integrated temperature sensor for the tip, brightness control ability, white LED illumination, 5X zoom capability with image capture and recall, long exposures up to 10 seconds and video capabilities. Measurement capabilities shall be the following: Minimal five measuring tips are required, three standard measurement tips (1 ea. forward view 80 degree, 1 ea. forward view 90 degree, and 1 ea. side view 80 degree) and two stereo measurement tips (1) ea. forward view 50 degree, and 1 ea. side view 50 degree) image formats bitmap, JPEG with video format MPEG 4, and the ability for text and graphic annotation. Battery capabilities shall be the following: Rechargeable Li-lon battery with a minimum 2 hour operating time. Memory storage capabilities shall be the following: At least 4GB internal and 8GB external with USB ports to download the internal memory. A custom case for protective storage shall be included. All information received will be treated as public knowledge; therefore, vendors should not submit proprietary information in response to this Sources Sought. Specific information sought includes: Company information, including name, address, and web address. Whether the company is a manufacturer or distributor. A point of contact for follow -up information, and the point of contact's phone number and e-mail address. Product name and a brief description (75 words or less) Technical data regarding available products to include: specifications, performance data, associated drawings when available, energy storage options, etc. Business Size Standard: Small Business or large Business.
