Description
FBO Pre Solicitation Synopsis HVAC #1 Coils Project Project Location: Federal Courthouse in Portland, Me. April 25, 2014 This project covers the replacement of both heating and cooling coils of HVAC #1 on the ground floor of the main mechanical room. HVAC #1 Unit Data: Mfg: Trane (31,700 CFM) Model Unit: Modular Service Model #: MCCA066BAO0A0BA0000 Top & Bottom Coil #: DUWB38126A0BA103CAAC00A0000 Trane Sale Order #: A1F759A Customer Order #: 29483 Synopsis: This project is to remove and replace the coils of HVAC #1, work to include, but is not limited to the following disciplines, and tasks. Construction: Provide and install two coils (approx. size 127"x 78"x 10") within the modular housing unit. Removal of hot and chilled water piping, drain and vent lines and Victaulic fittings. Plumbing/Pipefitting: Disassembly of Victaulic piping on both coils and the replacement of all new pipe and fittings after installation of coils. HVAC: Replacing both water coils and replacement of freezstat controls. Removal and replacing the housing insulated duct liner within the Supply Fan modular unit. Sealing all opened housing access doors and plates. Repair door handles. Electrical: Tying the freezstats into the current Building Automatic System Open to Small Business Only. The estimated amount is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation package will be available on or about May 15, 2014.
