Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO2) intends to solicit proposals from contractors to provide the Albany VA Medical Center, Albany, New York, Bare Metal Coronary Stent Implants with Delivery System on a consignment basis from FDA approved businesses which hold current Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contracts. The VA anticipates issuing a solicitation for this requirement on or about May 1, 2014, with a closing date on May 12, 2014. The solicitation will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov. Contractors who feel they will be able to meet the Government requirements will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The proposed contract period shall be for a base period, May 14, 2014 (or date of award) through May 13, 2015, with four (4) one-year option periods. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339113 and the size standard is 500 employees. All questions in reference to this solicitation shall be submitted in writing and shall include a point of contact, telephone number, and an email address/fax number.
