Description
Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Basic Contract for construction services required for the abatement of asbestos containing materials (ACM), abatement of surfaces contaminated with lead paint and remediation and removal of mold contamination from a variety of surfaces or material with pre-established fixed contract line item prices. The contractor shall provide all material, labor, transportation, tools, equipment, management, supervision and quality control necessary for construction services that entails the removal of various types of materials containing asbestos, with the implementation of control measures and/or additional abatement procedures; removal of lead contaminated and lead containing materials with the implementation of interim control measures and/or additional abatement procedures; and the remediation/removal of mold contamination from a variety of surfaces and materials. The work may include construction services to repair or replace any equipment, structure, and surfaces that have been disturbed, damaged or removed during the remediation and abatement of the contaminated materials. After the abatement of the materials containing asbestos and lead the contractor is responsible for the proper disposal of waste products that are determined to be hazardous waste and any other construction waste generated during the work. Incidental testing and related work to determine the extent of the material contamination may also be included in the projects. The place of performance for the task orders issued under this contract is at Naval and Marine installations within Monterey County, Kings County, Mono County, Kern County and San Bernardino County, California. The work will predominantly occur at Naval Support Detachment (NSD) Monterey, Naval Air Station (NAS) Lemoore, Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS) China Lake, and Marine Corp Mountain Warfare Training Center (MCMWTC) Bridgeport. The installation and exact location will be designated on each individual Task Order. The actual amount of work to be performed and the time of such performance will be determined by the Contracting Officer, or his properly authorized representative, who will issue future written Task Orders using the pre-priced ELINs contained in the CLIN 0001 ELINs to the Contractor.
