Description

Attachment contains an itemized parts list. The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Small Boat Product Line (SBPL), has a requirement to procure various parts and components to support the steering system that is currently installed on our 47' Motor Life Boat (MLB). All parts must be genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts - no substitutes or aftermarket parts shall be accepted. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination. It is anticipated to award a fixed-price Requirements type contract consisting of one base year and four option years. All engineering and technical data, drawings, etc., required to manufacture these parts is proprietary information to the OEM, therefore negotiations shall be conducted only with Hypro marine, and/or their authorized distributors. Concerns were given the opportunity to submit their capabilities in the Sources Sought Notice published on FBO on January 14, 2014. Request for Proposal (RFP) Number HSCG40-14-R-52006 shall be available for download from FedBizopps on or about May 15th, 2014. This date is ESTIMATED at best. It is the offerors responsibility to periodically check FedBizOpps on or about this date for availability. This synopsis is issued in pursuant to FAR 6.302.
