Description
Question & Answers: Abar Furnace 30 Apr 14 #1-6 1. What exactly do they want for an auto tune screen? When the original contractor was training our maintenance for the tuning the process was cumbersome and the contractor suggested making a screen that would make this easier being all in one screen. 2. The Honeywell 900 has an auto tune function built in. True but as stated the process is cumbersome to do and the maintenance wanted an easier way to do this. 3. What do they want this screen to do or show, a trend of all the TC's used in a uniformity survey? They need to be able to program offsets during ramping of temperatures so it does not over shoot at any point during the program. 4. Do you want this listed as a profile to access. You would have two recipes, this would be number 3. It could be called auto tune. It would be run just as any other profile you would run. If having a profile that is similar to a recipe that will help the maintenance people tune the furnace, then yes. 4a. What do you to see on the screen??? No info to provide. 5. How many zones of temperature control are there? There are three heat zones controlled individually and adjustable individually. 6. Does the furnace now trend all TC's for a survey during a run or are there only a zone TC, and an overtemp? They are trending all of them which include TC's in the chamber for control and over temp and well as a TC in the foreline.
