The work consists of: 1. The construction of an approximately 3000 s.f. tribal house and 600 s.f. comfort station, including all site work, related utilities, and other work commonly associated with new building construction. 2. Project will incorporate extensive use of Government-furnished millwork, including hand-adzed wall planks, flooring and other aesthetically sensitive features. The project is anticipated to be constructed during the 2014 and 2015 construction seasons with no mandated seasonal shutdowns. The project work is located in Bartlett Cove, typically accessed by road from the city of Gustavus, Alaska. Gustavus is a community accessible only by sea or air. Commercial lodging, residential housing and services are generally available in Gustavus. Effort must be taken to limit any conflict between other construction activities, Park visitors and Park operations. 4/25/2014: Two FBO notices were created for this solicitation. Specifications and drawings will be available in Adobe PDF format through www.fbo.gov.
