- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The CBP Contracting Office located in Laguna Niguel, California intends to award a sole source task order order/contract to Maryland Office Interiors (MOI) to provide furniture labor services for Knoll workstations in the Washington D.C. local area under its GSA Schedule Contract. The Knoll workstations are currently under warranty and require certified Knoll technicians due to design and engineering patents that are proprietary in nature. This acquisition will be made under other than full and open competition IAW FAR Part 8-405. The anticipate award date in early July 2014. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the services listed herein. The deadline date for submittal of information is 25 April 2014, 2 PM (Pacific Time). A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considred solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
