Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. VA263-14-Q-2780 Request for Quotation (RFQ) is being issued as a small-business set-aside and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 721110 with the small business size standard of $30 Million. The VA Health Care System, VISN23, has a requirement to procure Temporary Lodging for Veterans in Lincoln, Nebraska, for a Base Year, 5/1/2014 through 4/30/2015 with 4 Option Years. The daily room rate shall include fully furnished hotel room, continental breakfast and will include all applicable taxes, fees and any other no-charge services. A list of requirements and specifications are listed within the attached solicitation document(s). The VA anticipates a single award that will be made on the basis of Best Value to the Government meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards list in the Statement of Work. Quotation is due by 12:00 pm CT on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, with anticipated award date of 5/1/2014. Quotes are to be emailed to the Contracting Officer, denise.hill@va.gov prior to the closing date and time.
