- Other Than Full and Open Competition THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source award by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to: Brendan Stanton, INC. 416 Stump Road Montgomeryville, PA 18936 for Experimental Support for High Energy Arc Fault Fire. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, and the size standard is $14 million. Other Than Full and Open Competition is attached to this announcement. Not: A Source Sought announcement no. AMDTC-14-0001 was posted to FBO on March 19, 2014. The only response received was from Brendan Stanton, INC A determination to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties who believe they possess the capability to satisfy this requirement should submit documentation that clearly demonstrates their ability to provide services needed by the NIST. Responses to this notice shall be received no later than noon Eastern Time April 25, 2014. All responses must be in writing and are to be sent via email to abdul-kudus.yahaya@nist.gov. NOTHING HEREIN SHOULD BE MISCONSTRUED AS A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS, QUOTES OR BIDS. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE NOR IS INTENDED TO BE ISSUED.
