- Draft Performance Work Statement(PWS) Advanced Network Engineering Services(ANES) This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a request for proposal and is not considered a commitment by the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. The US Air Force is seeking potential companies who have the skills, experience, knowledge and capabilities required to provide HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA/A6 with specialized network engineering services to support the installation, sustainment and optimization (including both effectiveness and efficiency in terms of stability, performance and security) of network hardware and software employed throughout HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA in support of the Major Command's (MAJCOM)-specific and base-level network capabilities. With the HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA network implementing a new enterprise architecture, a host of new hardware and software upgrades, and new Unified Capabilities, the increasing complexity of and reliance on the network requires specialized network engineering expertise to achieve MAJCOM goals and objectives associated with network technologies. Applicable NAICS Code: 541519 Product Service Code: R425 The place of performance is on-site at HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA/A6 (Ramstein Air Base, Germany). The anticipated period of performance is 30 September 2014 through 29 September 2015, with the yearly option to extend the performance through 29 September 2019. Interested sources are requested to provide a capability statement which briefly describes previous and/or current work experience in or relating to the areas listed above. In addition, interested sources are requested to review the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for this Follow On Advanced Network Engineering Services (ANES) contract on-site at HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA/A6 (Ramstein Air Base, Germany)and provide comments, concerns and recommendations, if any, in accordance with the attached draft PWS.
