Description
More time is needed to consult with various technical individuals for the project specifications. For this reason the following changes are made. Response Date and Time: June 2, 2014 Work location is updated to include Rouge River-Siskiyou National Forest. Solicitation will now be available for download on or about May 1, 2014. This project is to secure services to recruit and place large wood or spawning gravel in stream structures. The work includes line-pulling standing live trees, falling hazard trees/snags, and/or cable yarding downed wood into in-stream structures or landings, and providing traffic control as necessary at various locations within the Siuslaw, Willamette and Umpqua National Forests and the Salem and Eugene Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Districts. The Contractor may also be required to place spawning gravel in-stream or configure wood in-stream structures with a cable system. The Contractor shall furnish all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to complete the work required. The Government anticipates awarding two Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. The period of performance of the IDIQ contract is from date of award through March 31, 2017. Work to be specified, location of work and contract performance period will be ordered via Individual Project Task Orders. Contractor may be required to perform work items simultaneously on more than one district. The total amount of all task orders, when combined, will be less than $300,000.00. The minimum guarantee for each award is $1,000.00. The Government does not intend to use FAR Part 12 for the acquisition. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about April 16, 2014.
