Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for furnishing commercial items. The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting quotes under solicitation number VA786-14-Q-0165 for the following cemetery: Quantico National Cemetery 18424 Joplin Road (Route 619) Triangle, VA 22172 PH: (703) 221-9939 Delivery needed by no later than Wednesday, May 7th. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS Code is 111998, All Other Miscellaneous Crop Farming. SCOPE OF WORK FOR FERTILIZER PURCHASE ORDER AT QUANTICO NATIONAL CEMETERY Cemetery: Quantico National Cemetery Project Title: Fertilizer Purchase / Delivery POC: George Truslow / John Habel Tele: (703)-221-9938 Scope: The Contractor shall furnish and deliver 850 bags of granular turf fertilizer to the Quantico National Cemetery located at 18424 Joplin Road (Route 619), PO Box 10, Triangle, VA 22172. ITEM NO.DESCRIPTIONEst. QtyUNITTOTAL PRICE 01Provide and deliver 850 bags of granular turf fertilizer. Fertilizer will have a 25-0-10 N-P-K ratio and will contain 50% slow release nitrogen from SCU (sulfur coated urea). Individual bags will be 50 lbs. each and will be palletized (wrapped and secured with plastic wrapping) upon delivery. Contractor will be responsible for offloading of all pallets of fertilizer in the appropriate storage area determined by the cemetery. Delivery may only be made between the hours of 8AM - 3PM at the Quantico maintenance yard.
