- Description
- The U.S. Embassy in Moscow, Russian Federation has a requirement for access to the local Internet, permanent internet services and dedicated leased line channels and circuitry for connecting American Embassy/Moscow and remote U.S. Embassy locations. The resulting contract shall be for one base and four option years. The firm-fixed prices shall be offered on a monthly basis. The U.S. Embassy in Moscow, Russian Federation has a requirement for access to the local Internet, permanent internet services and dedicated leased line channels and circuitry for connecting American Embassy/Moscow and remote U.S. Embassy locations. The resulting contract shall be for one base and four option years. The firm-fixed prices shall be offered on a monthly basis. Please note that this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with the format FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is S-RS500-14-Q-0005 and is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation/contract will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-64 thru 69. Items to be acquired: OpenNet Plus (VPN through the Internet), dedicated Internet Network for all Mission's Agencies at the Chancery, OpenNet Plus (VPN through the Internet) at the U.S. Embassy branch offices. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Provide List of clients over the past five years, demonstrating prior experience with relevant past performance information and references, strategic plan for Internet services, and plan of ensuring quality of services as part of their offer. The Internet Service Provider must provide excellent Quality of Service (QOS) for the connection, that represents the level of consistent download capacity provided, must be the higher QOS percentage possible but, at minimum, greater than 99.97% or the highest possible quality of service connection reaching 100%. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items, applies to this acquisition.
