Description
Demolition - sawcut, demo and remove all paving and base material that does not meet the 95% compaction criteria as identified by previous site exploration, but the areas of deficiencies are not limited to those defined by that study. Demo sidewalk in area of voids directly below the sidewalk. Barriers shall be placed around unfinished work to prevent safety mishaps.Install a new sidewalk & curb where it is to be cut out in the void area to match existing elevations.Install new hot mix asphalt paving in two 2 lifts over areas where existing paving had to be removed to correct the unstable, eroded or poorly compacted areas. Cold mill existing asphalt where transitioning to adjacent paving, ribbon gutters, manhole covers, concrete appurtences, catch basins and vaults so that a minimum of 1 depth of new AC is maintained. Grind all areas level that are bulged above adjacent finish grade. Correct any trench sinking prior to paving, excavating and recompacting the base material to 95%. Compaction reports to be submitted to the FEAD at NMCSD. At the 9 x18 ADA Van Accessible parking and 8 x 18 loading space on the passenger side, and the standard accessible angled parking stall to the east, build up an AC pad that is 2% maximum slope in all directions, tying or blending into the existing sidewalk/curb level directly in front of the main entry sidewalk and extending the built up ramp to the padded area at a maximum slope of 5% to the surrounding parking/driveway areas.
