- Drawings (40 sheets) Statement of Work Cover letter and procurement documents S. M. Stoller Corporation, Contractor to the U. S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Legacy Management, will issue a solicitation package within the next 45 days, to construct a Groundwater Remedy Optimization System within the Monticello Mill Tailings Site, located in and near the city of Monticello, Utah, in southeastern Utah about 250 miles southeast of Salt Lake City, Utah. The Contractor operated system will tie into eight existing groundwater extraction wells and 16 existing monitoring wells located on the south side of Montezuma Creek. The treatment system will extract contaminated groundwater and pump it through a buried pipeline to an existing evaporation pond located approximately one mile to the south. The work includes: trenching and burying of piping and conduit, plumbing to the existing extraction and monitoring wells (completions), installation of transducers and controls, re-alignment and grading along the pipeline route and installing a gravel road, constructing a groundwater transfer building with a transfer holding tank, SCADA system, HDPE transmission pipeline, installing system control vaults, connecting the pipeline to the existing evaporation pond, and improving the road around the evaporation pond. You are required to have the appropriate license required by the State of Utah Professional Licensing regulations to propose this project. You will need to provide a copy of the appropriate licenses before the time for receipt of proposals or with the proposal in order to be considered for award.
