- Ladies and Gentleman, The Regional Contracting Office (RCO) Vicenza intends to award a contract for the subject indicated above. The Purpose of this Synopsis is to publicize the upcoming contract action. NUMBER AND TITLE OF THE PROJECT: Project E7-00016-2J Replace Overhead Crane in Building 266 at Caserma Ederle, Vicenza, Italy DESCRIPTION: This is a construction contract to replace existing overhead crane installed in building 266 at Caserma Ederle (VI). Replacing is necessary to meet user request to perform maintenance service on Government lifter and heavy equipments. Certifications Required: 1.SOA category OG-1 Class 1. METHOD OF COMPETITION: This requirement will be procured using full and open competition processes and Procedures. FUNDING: The requirement is funded. PERFORMANCE SITE: The site for the work is the military installation in Vicenza (Caserma Ederle) Italy. PROJECT AMOUNT: The project amount is between $50,000 and $100,000. This amount is informational only. Offerors are not bound to submit an offer within that range. SELECTION CRITERIA: Will be firmly established in the solicitation. Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) is anticipated at this time. TYPE OF CONTRACT: The Government contemplates the award of a firm-fixed price (FFP) commercial contract. ANTICIPATED AWARD DATE: 02 June 2014. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Performance period is 120 calendar days from first notice to proceed. SITE VISIT: The date of the site visit is not determined at this time.
