Description

The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), Product Manager for Infantry Combat Equipment (PdM ICE), Quantico, VA intends to award a brand name limited source contract to Sonetronics Inc. or Sonetronics' authorized resellers for a total of 1,396 Enhanced Combat Vehicle Crewmen Helmets (ECVCH) one size fits all communication liner/heard set, part number ECVCH-LNR-001. The estimated contract value for this procurement is $649,140. The Justification and Statutory Authority is FAR 6.302-1- Only one responsible source (limited sources). Sonetronics is the only manufacturer able to produce a Combat Vehicle Crewman (CVC) communication liner/headset that is compatible with the existing CVC interfaces and crew missions. As such, the ECVCH communication liner/headset is proprietary to Sonetronics and is available only through Sonetronics and Sonetronics' authorized resellers. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement which will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis is solely within the discretion of the Government.
