- The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to award a single, firm-fixed price contract to furnish labor, equipment, supplies, materials, to install three (3) electric heat pump systems with back up propane fired furnaces, one (1) ductless split-system, one (1) HRV system, one (1) water heater, a concrete pad, and a gravel drain field for the Henry Mountain Field Station. A quote for two (2) optional schedules will also be requested and, if exercised, would include, Schedule B: Furnish all labor equipment, supplies and materials to move heat pumps and install new thermo stats for four (4) homes, three (3) duplexes and Schedule C: Furnish all labor equipment, supplies and materials to install a smoke detector system and exterior LED fixtures in the Henry Mountain Field Station. Option items will be awarded based on availability of funds. See Section B or Section M of the solicitation clauses for additional details.Project is located in Wayne, UT near the Henry Mountain Field Station at 380 South 100 West, Hanksville, UT. Site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Meet at the Henry Mountain Field Station at 380 South 100 West, Hanksville, UT. This project is set aside for small business vendors under the North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code 238220, with a size standard of $14.0M. Offerors must be certified in HVAC systems. Project price range is between $25,000 and $150,000. Performance time is Monday, May 5, 2014 to Friday, May 30, 2014. Payment Protection is required for contracts greater than $30,000, prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Offerors shall periodically check for amendments and other changes to the solicitation documents. In the event that the wage determination for schedule B is not received before the close of the solicitation, all offerors will have a chance to revise their bids prior to final evaluations.
