- Government of Georgia (GoG) has received a grant from the Government of the United States through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) toward the cost of the Improved Infrastructure, Economic Opportunities, and Support for Internally Displaced Persons, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant for Rehabilitation Works of Sanitary Upgrades, Household Water Supply and Drainage for 2 IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) Cottage Settlements in Shida Kartli and Mtskheta-Tianeti Regions (villages: Mokhisi and Tsilkani). Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for: "Rehabilitation Works of Sanitary Upgrades, Household Water Supply and Drainage for 2 IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) Cottage Settlements in Shida Kartli and Mtskheta-Tianeti Regions (villages: Mokhisi and Tsilkani)", USAID/W/ICB/08-Lot 3-2014 ". The Project areas are located in East Georgia, namely: 1). Mtskheta-Tianeti region, Mtskheta Municipality, Village Tsilkani - 25 km North from Tbilisi, access to the site is possible via Tbilisi-Stephantsminda motor way; 2). Shida Kartli Region, Kareli Municipality, Village Mokhisi - 110km West from Tbilisi; access to the sites is possible via Tbilisi-Senaki motor way. Project aims improvement of infrastructure of IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) cottage settlements. The proposed works include following: Main works for village Tsilkani The project for Tsilkani Settlement (number of cottages - 400) envisages arranging of toilet 400 units; yard networks of water supply-sewage systems and internal plumbing; individual sand-gravel filters. Main works for village Mokhisi: The project for Mokhisi Settlement (number of cottages - 58) envisages arranging of shower 58 units; yard networks of water supply-sewage systems and internal plumbing; individual sand-gravel filters; arranging of main gas line, internal quarterly gas network, connection of cottages to gas network and provision of gas meters -58 units. All Works must be completed within 4 (Four) months after Start Date. Bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedures, in accordance with USAID and Municipal Development Fund policies and procedures, and is open to all bidders listed in USAID Geographic Code 937, as defined by USAID source and nationality regulations 22 C.F.R. Part 228 ( http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-20101-10/html/2011-33240.htm ), or 110 (currently the United States, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan) in effect on the date of acquisition. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF) office at the address below from 10:00 to 18:00 hours. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of GEL 300 (three hundred) or equivalent. The minimum required average annual turnover of construction works for the successful Bidder in the last three years shall be - GEL 27,000,000 2. The minimum amount of liquid assets and/or credit facilities net of other contractual commitments shall be - GEL 3,800,000 Bids must be delivered to the address below no later than 16:00 hours, April 25, 2014. Late bids will be rejected.
