Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, materials, equipment, labor, supervision and facilities to repair a Carbon Steel Oil/Water Separator (OWS) at building 401, as stated in these specifications at the 128th Air Refueling Wing, 1919 East Grange Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53207. This will be a service contract and Service Contract Act (SCA) wage determination will be used. Proposals are due on 23APR2014. Please see attached specifications pertaining to this job. Please email any questions regarding this job to dionne.holloway@ang.af.mil and if you would like pictures of the existing oil/water seperator as well. The disclosure of magnitude for this job is less than $25,000.00. The period of performance is expected to be no more than 10 working days. Site visits may be coordinated through the Contracting office by contacting MSgt Dionne Holloway at dionne.holloway@ang.af.mil Proposals will be evaluated on a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) basis. Criminal background checks will be completed for individual workers on this job to be allowed access to the base. Anti-Terrorism (AT) Level I Training will be required for the individual workers on the job: https://atlevel1.dtic.mil/at Commercial clauses will be incorporated into this contract including 252.209-7997, 252.209-7996, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 A project plan shall be provided when submitting a proposal (NTE 3 pages) including a brief synopsis describing your technical solution, a cost breakdown on an AF Form 3052 or similiar format, and products/methods proposed to satisfy this requirement. The project plan will be evaluated on an acceptable/unacceptable basis.
