- On behalf of Joint Personal Property Shipping Office (JPPSO) Southeast, NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center, Jacksonville, FL intends to solicit utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR13.5) on a 100% Small Business Set-Aside basis, a packing, containerization and local drayage of Direct Procurement Method (DPM) personal property shipments for the Meridian, MS area. The contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) as government-furnished, for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense (DoD) personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services through the DPM contract. The period of performance will consist of a base year and four (1) one-year options commencing 01 January 2015. This requirement will be identified under NAICS Code 484210 with the size standard of $25.5 million. The solicitation resulting from this announcement will be available on or about 05 May 2014 to interested parties via NECO at website: hhtps://www.neco.navy.mil. The Government will not distribute a hard copy of this solicitation or amendment documents. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation from the NECO website and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offerors to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed to offerors. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to receiving a government awarded contract.
