- The Regional Procurement Support Office (RPSO) at the American Consulate General Frankfurt, Germany is looking for companies interested in the project Internet Service Provider (ISP) Services for the American Embassy Kabul, Afghanistan which will be issued in the above solicitation under full and open competition procedures. The solicitation may result in the award of a Commercial Item Type Contract in fiscal year 2014. Generally, the contractor shall provide Internet bandwidth, US IP addresses, and tier 1, 2 and 3 level support for approximately 1,100 users in three separate locations in Afghanistan. Additionally, the contractor shall provide a “systems plan” (plan only) for individual billing as well as multiple service bandwidth packages to the Embassy customers. This individual customer “pay as you go” plan shall be awarded as a deliverable under the contract and shall be delivered six months after the start of the internet services. We may award one or more contracts to have access to the full range of expertise required. The performance period will be 12 months with four (4) separate one-year option periods. The solicitation will be issued by e-mail in English only; all communication shall be by e-mail and in English only, telephone calls and faxes will not be considered.
