This is a special notice of intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract to Solutions Through Innovation Technologies, Inc., 3152 Presidential Drive, Fairborn, OH, 45324. The Government requires removal and reinstallation of the existing security equipment to install a new workstation. The existing security equipment is currently being maintained by STI. Any variation would incur considerable developmental time and additional cost to the U.S. Government. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. An award is expected to be made to Solutions Through Innovation Technologies, Inc. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government may consider all responses received during the fourteen (14) days of this posting. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. No solicitation will be made available and all information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
