- NAICS 339992 Music Instrument Manufacturing THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Bliss Texas, 1733 Pleasonton Road, El Paso, TX 79916 is issuing this Request for Information (RFI), in accordance with FAR 15.201(b). This is not a solicitation. This announcement does not constitute a Request For Quote (RFQ), Invitation For Bid (IFB), Request For Proposal (RFP), Request For Application (RFA) or an announcement of a solicitation nor does this announcement commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Army is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in responding to this sources sought; all costs associated with responding to this announcement will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. Any resultant solicitation, if any, will be released through Federal Business Opportunities at https://www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. This sources sought is issued for the sole purpose of MICC Fort Bliss to conduct Market Research in accordance with FAR Part 10. The NAICS for this requirement is 339992, Music Instrument Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 employees. THE PURPOSE: of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified Small Business (SB) certified vendors who are capable of providing all supplies listed below: The required supplies are: (1) Martin Acoustic/Electric Guitar (Model# GPCPA4), (1) Yamaha Eb Trumpet (model# YTR9636), (2) Buffet R13 Prestige Clarinet, (2) Buffet R13 Greenline Clarinet, (2) Markbass Jackson Amplifier (model# TTE550W), (2) Markbass 104HF Front-Ported Bass Speaker, (1) Mesa Boogie Express Guitar Amplifier 5:50, (1) Roland Cube 80GX Guitar Amplifier, (1) Meinl Weston 3450 Tuba, (1) Selmer Paris Jubilee, (2) Alto Saxophone, (1) Selmer Paris Jubilee, (2) Tenor Saxophone. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: Interested sources must be identified by the SBA as a small business and are requested to submit an email to david.b.timmons.mil@mail.mil delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing these supplies. Sources must sufficiently demonstrate the capability to deliver the supplies and must provide detailed experience and qualifications in all previous work pertinent to this effort. Please include your business name, point of contact (POC), business size, along with your DUNs number or Cage Code with your submittal. Responses shall be received no later than 10:00 a.m. MST on 16 April, 2014. Classified material SHALL NOT be submitted. Please submit all questions related to this Sources Sought to the Contract Specialist via email by 2:00 p.m. MST on 15 April, 2014. No phone or e-mail solicitations regarding the status of any future request for proposal will be accepted prior to its release. This sources sought neither constitutes a Request for Quote or a Request for Proposal. This sources sought should not be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government for any purpose. Submission of any information in response to this RFI is purely voluntary. The U.S. Government does not assume any financial responsibility for costs incurred. Proprietary information and trade secrets, if any, must be clearly marked on all materials. All information received that is marked proprietary information will be handled accordingly. Please be advised that all submissions become MICC -Fort Bliss property and will not be returned nor will MICC- Fort Bliss confirm receipt of the RFI response.
