- The Army Contracting Command New Jersey (ACC-NJ-WS) intends to solicit & award an acquisition for refuse and recyclables removal and disposal services at OHIO COUNTY AIRPORT USARC/OMS/AMSA 109 (WV053), SGT JOE NURRE LANE, WHEELING, WV 26003-9201 and ANTHONY F. EAFRATI USARC (WV041), 100 FRONT ST, WEIRTON, WV 26062-4297. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide the requested services. The period of performance for this effort is estimated to be from 1 May 2014 to 30 April 2015. Four additional one year options are also included in this effort; therefore, potentially ending 30 April 2019, if options are fully exercised. The resultant contract is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed Price type contract. This acquisition is issued as a unrestricted procurement under the primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 562111 and a related small business size standard of $35.5 million. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered a request for quote/proposal; however, all responsible sources may submit a quote/proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Solicitation Number W15QKN-14-T-1195 is assigned for reference purposes. The entire solicitation will be made available on or about 10 April 2014 via the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The required response date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. Please be advised that hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available; you must download solicitation documents from the ASFI. Contractors are highly encouraged to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting their quotes. Go to https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The successful offeror / quoter shall be registered in the SAM database prior to submitting an invoice and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation.
