- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Reston Furniture Buy (I)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II)This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ Number P14PS00728. (III)The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72, effective January 1, 2014. (IV)This procurement is unrestricted and open to all sources. The associated The North American Classification Code 337214 for Office Furniture (Except Wood). The small business size standard is 500 employees. (V)This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial item(s)/services: New furniture for the Information Resources Directorate per the specifications and drawings applicable to this combined synopsis/solicitation. (VI)Description of requirements is as follows: The description of requirements is listed in the specifications and drawings located with this combined synopsis/solicitation. (VII)Place of delivery is 12201 Sunrise Valley Drive, C-Stack-Second Floor, Reston VA 20192. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. For services: Period of performance shall be May 1, 2014, through July 18, 2014. (VIII) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (FEB 2012), applies to this acquisition. In addition to written price quotes, offers are instructed to provide information as instructed in the body of the solicitation package. The National Park Service is requires that Sellers bid `exact match to spec That means that no Substitutions are allowed. Sellers must provide the item requested in the specifications. Buy Terms: New Equipment ONLY; NO remanufactured or gray market items. All items must be covered by the manufacturers warranty. Offer Period: The proposals must be good for 30 calendar days after close of Buy. Shipping: Shipping must be free on board (GOB) destination CONUS (Continental U.S.) which means that the seller must deliver the goods on this conveyance at the destination specified by the buyer, and the seller Is responsible for the cost of shipping and risk of loss prior to the actual delivery at the specified destination. Delivery Requirement: No partial shipments are permitted unless specifically authorized at the time of award. (IX) FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items (FEB 2012), applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (a) is hereby completed as follows: Factor 1 - Quality Factor 2 - Delivery Factor 3 - Past performance Factor 4 - Cost/Price Offers will be evaluated based on price and the factors set forth in paragraph (a), and award will be made to the firm offering the best value to the Government. (X) The offeror must submit a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (NOV 2013), with its quote. An offeror shall complete only paragraph (b) of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. If an offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at the SAM website, the offeror shall complete only paragraphs (c) through (m) of this provision. In order to receive a contract award, offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (ww.SAM.gov) and possess and maintain a valid Dun & Bradstreet number.
