- The 452 Operational Contracting Office on March Air Reserve Base intends to issue request for proposal (RFP) using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) to make a single award. This is a firm fixed price contract to provide for all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to demolish building 1238 (PDPG 08-0234). The actual solicitation will be posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 22 April 2014 with a proposal due date of 23 May 2014. The acquisition will be set aside for small business in accordance with FAR 19.5. The applicable North American Industry Classification System code is 238910 with a size standard of $14,000,000. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. Contract period of performance is estimated to be 60 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. A site visit is scheduled for 29 April 2014 at 0900. Interested parties are instructed to refer to the solicitation for instructions on attending the site visit. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be available. After the solicitation is posted, interested parties are cautioned to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments. NOTE: Interested offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Firms can register via the SAM internet site at https://www.sam.gov/. Interested offerors are required to submit their representation and certifications on-line using SAM.
