- Description
- United States Forest Service requires aerial imagery services for direct digital acquisition of 30cm resolution, 4-band coverage of approximately 2,208 square miles of the Manti La Sal National Forest, Utah. Imagery acquisition must be accomplished using a digital sensor that collects four-band multi-spectral natural color (RGB) and color infrared (CIR) simultaneously. The project will have an approximate flying season of July 1, 2014 through September 30, 2014. Upon contract award, the contractor is required to create and submit the proposed flight plan for Government review prior to the notice to proceed. Contract deliverables include: 4-band, 8-bits per band color corrected TIFFs (stereo imagery), stereo block files, orthorectified imagery, compressed project mosaic(s), project geodatabase, and other data files due approximately 90 days after the end of the flying season. The solicitation will include option items for uncompressed 4-band, 16-bits per band uncorrected TIFFs and increased quantity. The solicitation, number (RFQ) AG-8447-S-14-0003, will be issued on or about Tuesday, April 22, 2014 with quotations due on or about Thursday, May 22, 2014. This solicitation is a total Small Business Set-Aside issued under FAR part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and is subject to the Availability of Funds clause (FAR 52.232-18). All responsible small businesses may submit a quotation that shall be considered. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 541922 is $7 Million.
