Description
Requesting sources for the below item. Would like to know if you can submit a quote for this item and if you are a small business. Technical Specifications Carbon Sulfur Analyzer DLA Product Test Center (TC Lab) Objective: The DLA Product Test Center (TC Lab) has listed the requirements for the procurement of a Carbon Sulfur Analyzer. The Carbon Sulfur Analyzer is utilized to determine Carbon and Sulfur content of metals, ores, ceramics, and other inorganic materials. The TC Lab currently has a Carbon Sulfur Analyzer that is no longer supported with parts or service by the manufacturer. Our objective is to replace our obsolete Analyzer with one that will extend our metals analysis for at least 7 years into the future and provide a machine with a vertical induction furnace to combust and release Carbon and Sulfur elements in order to be bond to Oxygen. The Carbon and Sulfur content is then read by infrared absorption to obtain the desired test result. All functions are completely automated to ensure reliable operation. Because we want to maximize the use of on-hand consumables used by our existing Analyzer, some of the required features listed below will be specific. Minimum requirements: •1. Simultaneous Carbon/ Sulfur Analyzer •2. Automatic cleaning •3. 230 VAC; 50/60 Hz; 15 Amps max; single phase with power cord and plug (four prong turn and pull type) •4. PC w/ MS Windows 7 or later, Carbon/ Sulfur Analyzer program software, and monitor OR integrated control panel with internal program with RS-232 data port •5. Printer: laserjet •6. Furnace alignment: verticle •7. Sample size: 1 gram (nominal) •8. Sample carrier: ceramic crucible •9. Analysis time: 45 seconds (nominal) •10. Range (at 1 gram): Carbon 4ppm to 3.5%, Sulfur 4ppm to 0.4% •11. Readability: with PC 15 digits of precision, without PC 0.1 ppm •12. Accuracy: Carbon 2 ppm or RSD ≦ 0.5%, Sulfur 2 ppm or RSD ≦ 1.5% •13. Gas required: Carrier Gas to be Oxygen 99.5% pure at 35 psi, Pneumatic Gas to be either Compressed Air, Nitrogen, or Argon at 40psi (oil and water free) •14. Pricing to include shipping/delivery, installation, and onsite group instruction/training for a minimum of three technicians. •15. Company must have a United States based service center One year minimum warranty •16. Guaranteed company support for a minimum of 7 years •17. An estimate for periodic services (ie annual calibration, preventative maintenance, consumables, etc) associated with the instrument •18. Period of performance: 30 days from date of award to include delivery, installation, and training. •21. Training to include a minimum of three TC Lab Associates for 1 day within the Period of Performance.
