Description

ALL OFFERS SHOULD BE SENT TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER. FILL OUT ALL REQUIRED AREAS OF THE ATTACHED SOLICITATION. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS ARE AS FOLLOWS: The Sim Samantha is currently the only simulator that can simulate cardiac catheterizations to include comprehensive hemodynamic waveform generation and display, camera angulation, injection of coronary contrast, inflation of angioplasty balloons, deployment of simulated stents, venograms, ventriculograms, aortagrams, manipulation of all coronary catheters, as well as the ability to simulate numerous cardiovascular disease states, emergencies, coronary perforations, cardiac tamponade, vessel dissection, vasospasm, and numerous other cardiovascular emergencies. Being that it is a simulator, it will allow for the students to make real time judgment and see the consequences of bad decisions without impacting a real patient, or endangering other staff. Also due to the fact that it allows for simulation of radiography manipulation it will allow the students to gain necessary skills without exposing them to radiation.
