- General Information: A Sources Sought Notice from the National Park Service (NPS), Department of Interior (DOI). This notification is for the purpose of conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of potential contractors who have the skills, experience, knowledge and abilities required to successfully complete the work described below. This is not a request for proposal (RFP) or invitation for bid (IFB) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. All costs associated with providing information as requested by this notice shall be the responsibility of the contractor. Submission is voluntary. All responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation requirements separately from responses to this market survey. Any solicitation that may be issued will be posted on FedBizOpps and FedConnect. Project Description: The work consists of furnishing the materials, labor, tools and equipment necessary to remove the current Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) and replace the system with a new, state-of-the-art system to manage emergency lighting and security system operations during power outages and be able to service the system in the future. Work location is Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway Headquarters and Visitor Information Center, 401 North Hamilton Street, St. Croix Falls, WI. Disposal of the former system, components and batteries will be the responsibility of the US Government. The Contractor shall be able to provide skilled, trained, experienced and competent workers to complete the work as specified. The Contractor shall be fully responsible at all times to ensure compliance with current OSHA regulations and with all applicable National Electric Code (NEC) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requirements pertaining to removal of the former system and installation of the replacement system. Material Safety Data Sheets pertaining to products utilized on site must be maintained by the Contractor. Specifications: System features and components will need to be designed to provide conditioned, emergency back-up power to the ingress/egress lighting and security alarm systems for a minimal period of 90 minutes with 5,000VA/4,000 Watts Capacity, Nominal 208/120 or 240/120 VAC input and output characteristics. The system and components required for the project shall be of the highest quality of an approved manufacturer. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors.
