Description

The Northern Regional Contracting Office, Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC 28310, intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract using other than full and open competition procedures to St. Jude Medical, 1 Saint Jude Medical Drive, Saint Paul, MN 55117-1799. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The resulting award will be made on SF 1449, for commercial supplies. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501 (a). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be received by 3 April, 2014. This is solicitation number W91YTZ-14-T-0022 and is a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3842, size standard is 500 and the NAICS code of 334510. Womack Army Medical Center Fort Bragg North Carolina 28310 has a requirement for a Spinal Cord Stimulator. Requirement is All or None there will be No substitutes or compatibles accepted. This requirement is for a one-time purchase. The Government anticipates awarding a single award for this requirement. Clauses and provisions throughout this solicitation can be viewed by accessing website www.farsight.hill.af.mil and https://acquisiton.gov/far. Delivery: Within 30 days after receipt of order. Shipping shall be FOB destination to Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC 28310. FAR provision 52.212-1 [Instructions to Offerors Commercial] applies to this acquisition to include the following addenda: All offerors are cautioned that if selected for award, they must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) program.
