Description
Parts and Spares List The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price (FFP) order, under previously awarded Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N68335-13-G-0012, on a non-competitive basis with Aerostar International of Sioux Falls, SD., for the procurement of PGSS TIF 25 aerostat parts and spares, COUNS and OCONUS Field Service Representatives (FSRs) and Engineering Support for the Naval Air Systems Command 4.5x Special Surveillance Programs. The Government intends to procure the below items under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The procurement is for the attached list of TIF 25 aerostat parts and spares as well as CONUS and OCONUS FSRs and Engineering Support. The Aerostar hardware and services are designed to repair/maintain the capabilities of the existing Persistent Ground Surveillance System (PGSS) systems currently fielded in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) as well as support additional PGSS sites. The technology being fielded as part of the PGSS is specifically tailored to protect US and Coalition forces by providing the ability to provide surveillance and locate and detect hostile forces that are approaching in the distance, giving US Forces ample time for situation awareness and an effective response. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses should reference solicitation number N68335-14-R-0154. Responses must be received within 15 days of publication of this notice. The Point of Contact is Karen Davis, Phone: (732) 323-2772, E-mail: karen.davis2@navy.mil.
