Description
DLA Troop Support is seeking information from interested parties to support the newly established Integrated Food Services (IFS) Program. The information industry provides, will help in determining the best acquisition strategy for this procurement which may include a full range of integrated food services. An IFS concept is considered to be the preferred acquisition strategy, enabling a full range of services and management to the military customers world-wide. The focus of this concept is on providing equal or better food quality, better management transparency, and lower-level of risk to the Services with potential savings. The responsible party will provide a full range of services, operate government owned military dining facilities, to include but not limited to, kiosks (mobile or stationary), Grab and Go, Food trucks, and Culinary Services Training. Services will include procurement of subsistence and non-food related supplies, full food service and management of the dining facilities, food preparation and personnel, holiday meals, beverage support, fresh produce support, bakery and dairy support. Interested parties must identify their business size status, socio-economic affiliations, particularly their efforts related to AbilityOne (Javits-Wagner-O-'Day Act) and Randolph-Sheppard Act (R-SA), along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and/or to commercial customers. Please indicate the regions in which you have or can perform the required services. The responder/contractor is encouraged to discuss the support of new concepts in dining, including expanding meal servicing venues and service time through offerings of Provision on Demand (POD) stores, kiosks and food trucks. In addition to support of traditional dining facilities, please provide information regarding your experience in creating event driven activities at dining facilities, restaurants or similar avenues. •This is a request for information only, a solicitation is not available at this time. This Request for Information will be available for 30 days on the FedBizOpps website.
