Description

Place of Performance Provision ACH Vendor Payment Form Business Management Questionnaire ASTM Standard D 5238-98 Solicitation Document and Cover Letter CT2163-14 This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and the solicitation will be available at the Federal Business Opportunities website. The solicitation number is CT2163-14 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72. The North American Industry Classification System code is 314999 - All other miscellaneous textile product mills, the SBA small business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. intends to enter into a one (1) year with 4 options, firm-fixed-price Requirements type contract for the following commercial item: Cotton batting (felt) pads for use in the manufacture of bedding mattresses. The finished goods are for sale to the GSA and other federal agencies.
