Description

Justification for an Exception to Fair Opportunity A single award was made to Smartronix, Inc. on a Firm Fixed Price and Labor Hours basis, against their Alliant GWAC Contract GS00Q09BGD0050 on March 31, 2014. The task order consists of one Base Year and two 6-month Option Periods under the authority of an approved Justification for an Exception to Fair Opportunity in accordance with FAR Part 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C). The order must be issued on a sole-source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under the contract, provided that all awardees were given a fair opportunity to be considered for the original order.
