- This statement of work is for the breakdown, preservation, packaging, shipping and delivery of the TEF production tooling, that are used for the manufacture of the 74A180004-5027 and 74A180004-5028, L/H and R/H C/D Trailing Edge Flap assemblies. Tools have been recommended for retention by Boeing and its supplier, BAA. The recommendation has been reviewed and agreed to by U.S. Navy. Drawings are not available. This item is certified by the Navy with an AMSC code of "H", meaning that the Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate or legible data to purchase this part from other that current source(s). Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s)require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data right, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application.
