Each offered location will be assessed by Agency security personnel and site specific security requirements may be developed to be included with any offer for that location. If ground floor space is offered, location specific mitigating security measures will be required to meet Agency security requirements and make the location acceptable. Any offered ground floor space must have a minimum 20' setback from the exterior of the building to the defended perimeter. Offered space above the ground floor of a building with fewer than two (2) elevators must, at a minimum, offer an elevator with a card reader type control system for the sole use of the government. Space must be contiguous within the offered building. The Agency cannot be collocated with other Federal, State, local government agencies or private firms whose primary clientele are involved in or have ties to criminal elements. Offered locations cannot be within 1000' of a designated drug-free zone as measured from the door of the building to the zone boundary (i.e. school, park, church, daycare, etc.). Required parking must be secured and separate from any other tenant parking. In the event access from the secure parking directly into the building and/or space is not available, location specific mitigating security measures may be required to make the location acceptable. A one line narrative is required along with submittals describing how the offered building will meet the requirements advertised. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. The proposed leased space shall be fully serviced. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain.
