- This requirement is for a Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee (CPFF) / Cost-Reimbursement (CR) services contract for non-commercial Post Production Software Support (PDSS) of the Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS)/Standard Army Ammunition System-Modernization (SAAS-MOD) systems. This requirement is a follow-on to prior contract W15P7T-13-C-E004, Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) of STandard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS). The contract will consist of a base year and two option years. The total estimated price of the proposed action is $8M. PPSS is the sum of all activities required to successfully ensure that, during the production/deployment phase of a mission critical computer system's life cycle. The implemented and fielded software/system continues to support its original operational mission and subsequent mission modifications mandated by DOD/DA and product improvement efforts. PPSS consists of software maintenance on existing software, incorporation of changes required by DOD/DA policies and regulations, providing hardware upgrades and software testing to ensure successful completion of the requirements, and providing documentation updates in accordance with applicable changes. PPSS will include both functional and technical support provided telephonically and/or at user sites. Additionally, PPSS shall include training for software and/or hardware changes and installation of systems at new locations as the schedule is made available by DOD/DA. Performance for this task order will take place at the CECOM SEC TLD Government facility located at Fort Lee, VA. However, the contractor shall be required to support deployed systems at both Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) locations on a temporary basis. The Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS) and Standard Army Ammunition System - Modernization (SAAS-MOD) are a STAMIS which requires support. This contract will be competitively awarded to a small-business following the procedures of FAR 19.5, Set-Asides for Small Business, and FAR 15, Contracting by Negotiation. Small businesses under NAICS code 541519 with interest and capability to meet this requirement will be solicited for proposals. A draft solicitation is anticipated to be released shortly.
