- The DLA Product Test Center (TM Lab) has listed the requirements for the procurement of a High Speed Precision Cut-Off Saw. The saw is utilized to prepare metallographic samples for testing. This sources sought announcement is for information and planning purposes only; it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. A contract may not be awarded as a result of this sources sought announcement. The Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Supply Center - Columbus (DCSO-C) is seeking sources for a potential 100 percent set aside for small business concerns. IF ADEQUATE RESPONSES ARE NOT RECEIVED, THE ACQUISITION MAY BE SOLICITED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS. Title/Description: High Speed Precision Cut-Off Saw, Product Test Center, Defense Supply Center, Columbus, Ohio. This procurement consists of all labor, materials, tools, transportation, supplies, supervision, etc. necessary to provide a High Speed Precision Cut-Off Saw (that meets the attached list of mandatory characteristics) for DLA Land and Maritime Product Test Center Mechanical Lab at the Defense Supply Center Columbus, Ohio. Details of required characteristics shall be found in the attachment on FBO. Contractors submitting proposals for this procurement shall be able to ship the supplies to the State of Ohio. The Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Supply Center- Columbus (DCSO-C) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract with a 30 day calendar delivery schedule. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 332216 and the size standard is 500 employees. Small Business contractors interested in providing proposals for this requirement MUST submit a capability package by 4:00 PM EST on Monday 7th April 2014. Capability packages should reference solicitation number SP4702-13-Q-0024. Your response must include the following: •a) A positive statement of your intent to submit an offer for this solicitation. •b) Your company name, point of contact, address, phone number, e-mail address and business size under NAICS code 332216 and contractor DUNS Number or CAGE code. Contractors interested should provide the documentation listed above by e-mail. All of the information must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on the availability of interested small business concerns.
