Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE AND NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS ARE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. This is a Sources Sought Notice only. The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System in Loma Linda (VALLHCS), California is contemplating a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for dental laboratory services to provide custom-made dental prostheses for Veterans. The contemplated BPA is for a full service laboratory that can integrate the combined treatment needs of Veterans requiring simultaneous fixed, removable, and implant supported prostheses. All labor, supplies, materials, pick-up, and delivery shall be included in the services. Prostheses may include crowns, restorations, bridges, pontics, dentures, retainers, or other types of dental prostheses. Materials required for dental prostheses may include gold, porcelain, high noble white metal, procelain/metal, Vitallium metal, plastic, resin, non-noble metal, Lucitone 199, and possibly others. The Contractor shall be required to pick up prescriptions and impressions for denture crowns, bridges, denture frameworks, upper and/or lower, from VALLHCS. All transportation, labor, supplies, supervision, and materials required to fabricate denture frameworks in accordance with prescription specifications shall be provided by the Contractor. The contemplated acquisition shall be a Total Small Business set-aside in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.203 Set-asides for small business concerns and FAR Subpart 19.502-2 Total small business set-asides. The NAICS code associated with this contemplated acquisition is 339116, with a small business size standard of 500 employees.
