- RFQ for Demo/Removal of Biscayne Channel Light DOL Wage Determination. Specs/SOW for Biscayne Channel Light This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services is prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This synopsis/solicitation is being advertised for Small Business set aside vendors only for the DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF BISCAYNE CHANNEL LIGHT, PROJECT# 5845386 for Coast Guard Sector Miami Florida. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no separate written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is HSCG28-14-Q-PMW077. This contract will be awarded on the basis of LOWEST PRICE/TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE. Target award: $30,000 Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) codes are: 238910 (Site preparation Contractors) size standard of $14.0Million 541990 (All other professional, Scientific and Technical Services, size standard of $14.0 Million This requirement is for a fixed price contract. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 13. Anticipated award date: OOA 15 May 2014 Quotes are to be received no later than close of business (3 p.m.) on 01 May 2014. U.S. Department of Labor Wage Determination: 2007-0134, Rev 7, date: 11/05/2012 SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor is required to provide personnel and equipment for the Demolition and Removal of Biscayne Channel Light, located inside the boundaries of Biscayne National Park, approx. 2.4 miles southeast of Key Biscayne, Dade County Florida. Geographical range: Vendors located within Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach counties are preferred, but all vendors who perform mandatory site visit will be considered. Performance Period: The work should begin within 10 days after award has been made. Weather conditions will also be a determining factor in the commencement of this demolition. The Contractor shall provide all labor and supervision per Statement of Work to carry out the required services.
