Item purchase description Quantity is 40 kits, destination is Portsmouth VA. 8030-00-142-9124 UI: KT SEALING COMPOUND DESCRIPTION In accordance with Military Specification MIL-PRF-23586F dated December 30, 1996 and Amendment 2, dated January 11, 2002, Sealing Compound with Accelerator, Silicone Rubber, Electrical. QPL qualification required: QPL transformed to QPD, December 2, 2009. Please go to http://assist.daps.dla.mil/quicksearch/, and follow the steps below to view the QPD. 1. input "23586" in document Number field and click "Submit" 2. Click on the primary specification link in "Document ID" column. 3. click on "Qualification" in the "Overview" section to view the QPD. Type II: intermediate viscosity Class 2: medium cure, room temperature Grade B2: reversion resistant, addition cure Size: A kit consisting of a minimum of 3/4 pint of base material in a can, the required amount of separately packaged curing agent and 4.0 fl oz of primer. Shelf life code: 4 (12 months) Maximum age on delivery: The product shall have a minimum of 6 months usable shelf life remaining upon delivery to the government. See attached for complete item purchase description Award will be based on (1) Price, (2) Shipment Days (1) Price will be evaluated first and is most important. (2) Shipment is requested in 30 Days After Receipt of Order (DARO). Shipment is the second most important factor. In the case that one or more vendors are equal in price, award will be made to the best shipment time under the required 30 DARO. Successful offeror must be currently active in tthe System for Award Management (SAM.gov). See attached for complete description and applicable clauses. Marking in accordance with MIL-STD-129 is required.
