Description
Project # N/A: Removal of Incinerator. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to remove an incinerator in its entirety, including associated utilities connected to the incinerator. The incinerator is located inside a small building attached to building 1 at the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System at 2201 N. Broadwell, Grand Island, Nebraska. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary demolition and removal of existing structures and certain other items necessary completion. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number VA264-14-Q-2061 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about March 15, 2014. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit will be held. (See solicitation when available for date/time/location of the organized site visit). Proposals are tentatively scheduled to be due on Tuesday 20, May 2014 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date). The Period of Performance is expected to be 60 calendar days from the receipt of award. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is less than between $25,000.00.
