- Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Knox is releasing a draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the Army Career Alumni Program (ACAP) Transition Services. This draft PWS is being provided to industry for receipt of industry comments only. The ACAP requirement is to provide transition services to Soldiers and meet Career Readiness Standards (CRS), operate established transition locations, and to provide pre-separation and transition assistance counseling and training services. Locations are both Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) and may change based on mission and needs. The period of performance will be 16 August 2014 through 15 August 15 with a 30 day phase-in, 11 month base, and two one-year option periods. Option periods will be exercised at the government's discretion. This draft PWS is not a solicitation and the Government is not requesting proposals. This draft PWS is for planning and information purposes only. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for any information solicited. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 541612 and $14 million respectively. Potential offerors are invited to submit written comments and questions regarding all aspects of the draft PWS. All comments must be submitted in writing via email (ONLY) to the Contract Specialist (catherine.l.padgett.civ@mail.mil). Interested parties should note that any submitted questions and the corresponding answers will be posted on this web site. The Request for Proposal (RFP) and any documents relating to this procurement will be posted on the FedBizOpps (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov on or about 14 April 2014 and will have an approximate 35-day response period. Amendments, if any, will also be posted to the FBO website. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor the FBO site for the release of the final RFP and amendments (if any). Potential offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation and any amendments. All comments must be submitted in writing via email (ONLY) to catherine.l.padgett.civ@mail.mil by 10 April 2014 by 10:00 eastern time.
