Notice Type: Pre-Solicitation/Synopsis Solicitation Number: N61340-14-R-0017 VISUAL INFORMATION SUPPORT SERVICES (VISS) Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division 12350 Research Parkway Orlando, FL 32826 Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy for a requirement in support of its Visual Information Support Services (VISS) program. The program will provide technical and visual information services to NAWCTSD, the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), the occupants of the Partnership I, II and III buildings, and any other Federal agencies located in the University of Central Florida Research Park, Orlando, Florida. VISS include support photography, graphic design services, presentation services, library services, special studies, operation of the Video Information Support Center (VISC) video teleconferencing, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, operation of the Command ™s Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), and major conference rooms. The estimated contract performance period would commence on or about October 2014 with the anticipation of a five (5) year effort. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541430, which has a small business threshold of $7.0M. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: The contractor shall provide the personnel necessary to manage and perform the duties and responsibilities necessary to perform the tasks as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), except as specified in Part 3, Government-Furnished Property. No item in the PWS shall be used to procure any services that are inherently governmental services or personal services. SUMMARY: This procurement will be 100% set aside for Small Businesses. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://ww.sam.gov/. Contractors ™ Representations and Certifications must be updated in the above site. No solicitation document exists at this time. Formal release of the solicitation is anticipated no later than May 2014. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be available. All potential offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation. A Required Pre-Proposal Site Visit will be held at 9:00 A.M. on 16 April 2014 only. Contractors shall submit access request to NAWCTSD property by contacting the Contract Specialist at Ferdinand.rodriguez@navy.mil no later than close of business on 7 April 2014. Up to two (2) Representatives per Contractor are allowed access to the site visit.
