Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Michael E. DeBakey VAMC (VISN 16) intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Fujifilm/Sonosite, a L04055, M-Turbo System Update. The proposed contract is for equipment for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4-5-2014 4:00 p.m. CST. Interested parties must submit all technical information required to make a determination of the proposed unit, to meet or exceed the specifications of the above referenced unit. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The government requires vendors to be registered in the SAM Registration Database (SAM) prior to award of any contract and agreements.
