- Citrus County Putnam County Walton County Lake County Santa Rosa County Volusia County Request for Quote U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to issue a Fixed-Price purchase order for hazardous waste cleanup and removal at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, in support of DEA's Office of Forensic Sciences. This Request for Quote (RFQ) is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This RFQ does not commit the government to pay any cost incurred in the submission of a quote or to award an order for these services. It is also noted that the Contracting Officer is the only individual who may legally commit the Government to the expenditure of public funds in connection with this procurement. RFQ number: DJD-14-Q-0038 proposed procurement method is a total small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 562112-Hazardous Waste Collection, Size Standard $35.5 million. This RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular FAC 2005-72 issued 01/30/2014. This acquisition incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of a clause may be accessed electronically at https://www.acquisition.gov. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses incorporated into the RFQ are: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (JUL 2013), 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items (NOV 2013), 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (DEC 2012), 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items (SEP 2013) with Alternate I (AUG 2012), and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (JAN 2014). The Government anticipates award of a single Fixed-Price purchase order. It is intended that contract award(s) will be made to the technically acceptable, legally eligible, responsible Offeror, who proposes the lowest reasonable price and has acceptable past performance. This will be a one-time pick and replenishment of US/DOT containers at the specified storage site locations listed in the Statement of Work. All questions regarding this RFQ should be directed Kara Cain at Kara.M.Cain@usdoj.gov by April 2, 2014 at 3:00 pm EST. If necessary, an amendment with answers to questions will be issued to the Offerors. The quote must be received April 4, 2014, at 12:00 pm EST. The quotes shall be submitted via e-mail.
