- The New York Harbor Healthcare System requires 24 hour, 7 days per week ambulance services consisting of Advanced Life Support (ALS), Basic Life Support (BLS) and Specialty Care Transport levels of service for beneficiaries at the following VA NYHHS Campuses: Department of Veterans Affairs James J. Noonan VA Community Clinic 3rd Floor47-01 Queens Blvd Staten Island, NY 10314Sunnyside, NY 11104 Yonkers Community ClinicWhite Plains Community Clinic 124 New Main St.23 South Broadway Yonkers, NY 10701White Plains, NY 10601 The government intends to solicit Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract with Fixed Price. Line item costs associated with varying levels of trip distances and service levels. The intent of an awarded contract shall be to have a business entity provide non-emergent ambulance transport services and wheelchair transport services for beneficiaries of the New York Harbor Healthcare Services (VA NYHHS) in New York, NY and surrounding areas. The Contractor gaining award shall provide all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, transportation, equipment, reports, and anything else necessary to provide non-emergent ambulance transport services and wheelchair transport services. The awarded contract shall cover a Base Period from June 1, 2014 (or date of award) through September 30, 2014, and subsequent four (4) 12-month Option Periods. The contractor's care shall cover the full range of paramedic and non-emergent ambulance transport services provided in the local community. Performance shall continuously be compliant with the requirements contained in the PWS, and meet or exceed the standards of the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS) and Emergency Medical Services of Mississippi.
